Gaining and Sharing knowledge
My interest in building products stemmed from my passion for composing music and the field of tech innovation. When composing music, you envision the melody and then translate that vision into musical notes by breaking it down into various components and layers. The same thought process is applicable to software programming.
I've been teaching myself to program different languages such as JavaScript (React + Node), Python, Java, PHP (yes, even PHP), C, and Bash, while passing on this knowledge to developers and managers in any way I can (blogs, webinars, lectures, etc). I’ve recently lectured advanced courses at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya, Israel.
Besides teaching, I've led product and engineering at top tech startups and public companies, such as Servicefriend (acquired by Meta), Houzz and Wix.
